SIVA SANKAR NANDA

Siva is the founder and CEO of INOVAUGMET. He is a seasoned researcher with over 10 years of experience in stem cell biology, organoids, small molecules, and CRISPR/Cas9 technologies. He has significantly contributed to the development of numerous patents. With a strong background in startup dynamics and fundraising, Siva led his company to secure the BIG Award from DBT-BIRAC, ELEVATE grant from K-Tech of Karnataka Government and has garnered several other awards and accolades. As a passionate entrepreneur, he is dedicated to launching disruptive solutions for unmet needs in medical dermatology. He has previously been associated with LVPEI, Hyderabad, and several biotech startups, demonstrating a unique blend of scientific expertise and entrepreneurial acumen. Outside of work, Siva loves to spend time with his family and practice yoga.

GIRISH KHAROSEKAR

Chief Financial Officer (Advisory)

Girish Kharosekar has over 25 years of experience in finance and compliance operations in diversified industries. As CFO (Advisory), he plays a pivotal role in fostering strategic alliances, mobilizing funds, and overseeing financial operations within the company. He brings a wealth of experience, having held senior finance positions throughout his career at prestigious organizations such as Intel in India and Malaysia, Cisco Systems, Sasken, and Pandorum Technologies. He has advised deep-tech startups on business, financial strategy, and tie-ups with fund allocators like AIF Cat II funds and seed-stage accelerators. He is an engineer from the College of Engineering, Pune, and has a postgraduate degree in Management Studies from IISc, Bangalore.

NARAYANA YV

Senior Research Scientist

Dr. Narayana is a Senior Research Scientist at Inovaugmet, playing a pivotal role in the innovative development and validation of drug screening assays utilizing luminescence, fluorescence, and absorbance to accelerate drug discovery and development. He holds a Ph.D. in stem cell biology from the prestigious National Centre for Cell Science, Pune. Following his doctoral studies, he advanced his research at Yale University, USA, as a postdoctoral researcher, where he significantly contributed to discovery of novel cellular pathways implicated in Parkinson’s neurodegeneration leveraging iPSC-based disease models of brain cell types such as neurons and microglia. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new places, and practicing yoga.

KALYANI ANAND

Research Scientist

Kalyani is a Research Scientist at Inovaugmet, where she excels in contributing to cell culture-based assays and leading operations for smooth running of projects. She earned her Master's degree in Zoology from the University of Madras, Chennai. Kalyani has previously contributed as a project associate on skin biology at the CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrated Biology, New Delhi. Outside of work, she explores the culinary arts, music, and the intricate craft of quilling.

SEETHA MALIREDDY

Junior Research Scientist

Seetha is a Junior Research Scientist at Inovaugmet, specializing in the Molecular Biology and Quality Control (QC) aspects of projects. She holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Sri Padmavathi University, Tirupati, and brings two plus years of experience in industrial microbiology and QC. Seetha contributes to molecular biology assays such as qPCR and ELISA and cell culture. In her free time, she enjoys the companion of enriching worlds of books, music, and yoga.
